Silcox Hut

  • Please plan for an intimate, romantic love filled evening at Silcox Hut
  • The Hut accommodates 40 people, so the space will be cozy.
  • We recommend wearing flats as the flooring is made of large rocks and is uneven.
  • There are 3 bathrooms and 1 shower.
  • Transportation to the wedding will be via Sno-Cat.
  • Once you are at the hut there is no going down to the Lodge until 11:00pm.

Winter Conditions & Transportation

  • Please plan for winter driving conditions to Timberline Lodge.
  • Transportation to the Hut will be in a Sno-Cat and it can be chilly!
  • Sno-Cat pickup and drop-off is at Timberline Lodge.
  • Guest departure times to Silcox Hut is at 5:00pm
  • If you miss the Sno-Cat - you miss our wedding!
  • We suggest warm clothing (winter boots, warm jacket, etc) for the 30min ride to and from the hut.
  • Sno-Cat departure to Timberline will be 11:00pm.


  • We recommend booking your room at Timberline Lodge as soon as possible.

  • We ask that you make a trip out of it and book a room for Friday night.

This and That

  • This will be an adults-only event. We hope this will allow you a much deserved night off to celebrate with us!
  • We can't wait to celebrate with our favorite people. Dress to impress in your best cocktail attire!
  • For those that are drinking, we ask that you please book a room at Timberline Lodge to stay safe and off the roads.
  • We will have 2 experienced photographers capturing our day so we kindly ask that phones and cameras remain out of sight until the ceremony concludes.

Lodging at the Hut

For the Bridal Party staying with us at the hut:

  • Lodging is Bunk Style
  • Bedding, Linens, Pillows, Extra Blankets provided.
  • Please checkout of your Lodge Room Friday morning and bring your overnight bag with you to the hut. Space is tight so pack light.
  • Fully catered breakfast Saturday morning provided .
  • Sno-Cat to Timberline Lodge will depart Saturday morning at 10:00am.
